When God created humanity, His desire was relationship. He wanted friends. He spoke with man and walked with them in the Garden of Eden. That is exactly what I experience today: conversations with Him through prayer and a relationship marked by His presence and His answers.

I love the description of the Messiah in Isaiah 9:6, where He is called the Prince of Peace—gentle, wise, and mighty. It is one thing to read these words, but it is another to experience them personally.
Where does human life begin?
Is it at conception? I believe it begins even earlier—with the very first man and woman. They did not create themselves. They received life. Loving hands formed them intentionally. They were not an accident. God breathed His own life into them.
„Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.“ Genesis 2:7 (NIV)
Job also declares:
„The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.“
Job 33:4 (NIV)
He wanted me to exist.
He wanted you to exist.
Isn’t that wonderfully romantic?
The thought touches me deeply—that each one of us was created intentionally, with great care and love.
Hope seems to be disappearing more and more in our world.
Whenever I feel that, I turn to God and ask Him to give me His perspective. He reminds me that this life is not the end. We are only passing through this world. During our journey, each of us is invited to choose whether we want to arrive safely in God’s loving presence—or continue wandering through life without hope and without a destination.
„May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.“ Romans 15:13 (NIV)
These words bring me such comfort.
There is Someone who loves my soul so deeply that He both can and wants to protect it.
Our bodies may suffer through illness, pain, or violence. Living in a broken world means we cannot always escape suffering. But Jesus has overcome all of it. His greatest concern is our soul. He came to rescue it, to guard it, and to bring it safely home, where it will remain secure forever.
That gives me a perspective that reaches far beyond this earthly life.
„Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‚He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.“ Psalm 91, 1-2 (HFA)
– is not a phrase you will find in the Bible.
For me, it expresses something deeply personal: God is the One my heart longs for. I love thinking about Him, enjoying His presence, and simply being close to Him. In His presence, I find myself singing again—filled with gratitude, joy, and praise, even after seasons when my heart has been heavy.
He has renewed my strength. He has protected me. I placed my trust in Him, and He answered me. That is why I can rejoice again with all my heart. My song has become an expression of thankfulness for all He has done.
„The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.“ Psalm 28:7 (NIV)

Der Bräutigam sucht seine Braut, in der Stille der Stunden, im Licht jeder Tür. Er sehnt sich danach sie zu finden, irgendwo muss sie doch sein. Er verzehrt sich vor Sehnsucht. Sie suchende Seele kommt ihr näher und näher mit jedem Schritt. Wann endlich?!
In ihrem Herzen ist sein Name eingewoben, der Klang des Namens wird vom Wind durch die Nächte getragen, mit dem Ruf: Wo bist du? Dann kommt er, durch die Gärten der Zeit, durch den Tau des Morgens und erkennt das ist sie die eine! Meine Seele kennt deine. Er wählt sie.

Kein Wasser kann sie ertränken, kein Wind ihr Feuer löschen. Gott schenkt Liebe und er wacht als der Schöpfer und Gebende darüber, wenn die Liebenden es wollen.
Salomo war kein Kostverächter. Er feierte die körperliche Liebe und Erotik, die durchaus von Gott gewollt ist. Aber Salomo schlug in seinem Rausch über die Stränge, er konnte nicht genug bekommen und hatte einen riesigen Harem von 700 Hauptfrauen und 300 Nebenfrauen. Treue war nicht seine Stärke. Er nahm sich was immer es begehrte. So hatte Gott das nicht gedacht. Mann und Frau. Nicht Mann und Frauen ohne Ende.
Die Vielweiberei wurde Salomo zum Verhängnis, denn sie bedeutete auch Vielgötterei. Salomo fiel vom Glauben ab, sein Reich ging unter.
Sich an den einen wahren, lebendigen Gott zu halten ist segensreich. Deshalb das Gebet und Versprechen am Ende:
Gott wir wollen einander ganz gehören, wir versprechen uns einander, das hat aber nur Bestand, wenn du Gott, unsere Herzen verbindest. Wir brauchen dich. Wir haben es nicht unter Kontrolle, deshalb: Schenk uns deinen Segen. Deine Gunst, dein Lächeln, deinen Schutz und Rat. Für jedes Wort und jede Tat.
Lass mich deinem Herzen nahe sein, so wie der Siegelring auf deiner Brust. Ich will einzigartig für dich bleiben, so wie der Siegelreif um deinen Arm. Unüberwindlich wie der Tod, so ist die Liebe, und ihre Leidenschaft so unentrinnbar wie das Totenreich! Wen die Liebe erfasst hat, der kennt ihr Feuer: Sie ist eine Flamme des HERRN!

Still, His blessing is not received automatically. We must willingly turn our hearts toward Him and remain connected to Him.
When Christ is at the center of our marriage, we can face the future with confidence. We do not need to know what tomorrow holds, because He already does. It is enough to know the One who holds tomorrow in His hands.

Whatever lies ahead, He walks with us. He strengthens us when we are weak, gives wisdom when we do not know the way, and provides hope when our own strength fails. He is the Cornerstone upon whom every lasting marriage must be built.
As long as our trust rests not merely in ourselves but in God, a marriage can endure and flourish. What gives lasting strength to a marriage is not the beauty of the ceremony, but the sincerity of the promise—a promise deeply rooted in hearts surrendered to Him.
If a wedding is only a beautiful celebration, an impressive ceremony, or an outward display without an inward commitment, its splendor will soon vanish like mist in the morning.
Marriage is far more than a romantic declaration. It is a sacred covenant—a lifelong promise that endures until death parts husband and wife.
Every covenant requires two willing partners. Both must embrace the same commitment and faithfully keep the same promise.
The marriage covenant is not forged in gold but in the heart. It is there that it is sealed. The rings simply reveal outwardly what has already been established inwardly.
