Butterflies. My heart lights up whenever I see two of them dancing together in the gentle breeze. It’s such a beautiful sight. They’re so delicate and light, carefree as they flutter from flower to flower, showing off their vibrant colors.
Sadly, butterflies don’t live very long. Just a few days—maybe a few weeks—and then they’re gone.
The butterflies in our stomach don’t last forever either. Slowly, the dream and the excitement give way to everyday life. Your partner becomes familiar. The thrill of something new begins to fade.
Being in love doesn’t last forever. For some people, that comes as a real surprise. The first challenges appear. We want to hold on to those exciting feelings, but we can’t. Everything has its season. And now it’s time for something deeper: love.
Falling in love simply happens. It can feel like a fireworks display—bright, exciting, and overwhelming. Love, on the other hand, is gentle and steady. It’s like a flower bud opening little by little, revealing all its Beauty over time—as long as it receives enough water.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

You and me. Two people relying only on their own strength, abilities, and resources can go only as far as those strengths will take them. That’s one reason why so many relationships struggle.
You can look into each other’s eyes, hold each other’s hands, and yet still find that you don’t have the strength to keep holding on during difficult seasons—or even during the ordinary routines of life. Sooner or later, every couple reaches their limits.
That’s when it’s good to have Someone by your side who is the greatest Counselor of all. Someone whose arm reaches farther than yours ever could. Someone with unlimited wisdom, unlimited power, and perfect knowledge of love—because He created it and lived it out Himself.
That Someone is God.
You and me and Jesus. Jesus, you and me. That is the threefold cord that cannot easily be broken.
When Jesus is invited to hold the hands that are joined together in marriage or partnership, that relationship can last a lifetime—as long as He remains the One who holds it together and stays at its center.
But if one of the two rejects Him, the relationship loses its strongest bond. It is the threefold cord that holds.
Jesus loves with a love that reaches beyond death itself. When we receive His love and allow it to fill our hearts, we can draw from it for the rest of our lives. We receive it for ourselves, and then we can pass it on—to everyone we meet, and also back to God, who delights in our love for Him.
When one falls, the other helps them up.
When one soul grows cold, the other brings comfort, warmth, and hope through their presence.
And when we reach the limits of our own strength, God is there like a rock standing firm against the crashing waves.
Turning to God together. Standing together on that Rock.
That’s what makes a relationship strong.

We also want to be honest about our current situation: due to my illness, we are unable to perform live at the moment. We hope that will change soon. For now, we continue creating and producing music.

The lyrics come from my heart—I’m Gabi. I write about the ups and downs of life, and I believe you’ll find parts of your own story reflected in many of them.
My songs speak honestly about weaknesses, longings, hopes, dreams, prayers, and moments spent with God. They tell of my joy, my refuge, my journey, and the way out that is always available to me—and to you as well.
They are personal stories of my experiences with the King of Kings: Jesus.
