My Heart – How did this come about?

My husband always used to say, “Don’t throw them away. They’re your writings. God inspired you.”

So I kept them—stored away in folders and boxes, year after year.

To me, they were yesterday’s news. Just old words on old pages.

I never imagined they could come to life again.

For many years, I only had time for the bare essentials—in every sense of the word.

After my mother passed away, there was so much in my life that needed sorting out.

One day, I found myself holding those folders again. I opened them and began to read. Some of the texts felt complete. Others were only rough drafts. And there were pages that didn’t speak to me at all.

It was as if God was saying, “Take this text. Take those lyrics. Write.”

So I wrote.

I finished them. I went deeper. I found new words. I rewrote them.

I wrote what was in my heart.

I wrote about wonder—and about being loved beyond measure. Nothing can erase God’s love.

I wrote about how, in the end, God welcomes us with honor and brings true justice. Crowned with glory.

I wrote about the Rock of my salvation and the Highway to Life.

Hallelujah.

Do you use a streaming service?

Wonderful. I invite you to have a listen.

I’m confident that God’s Spirit will minister to your heart.

Blessings, Gabi
